Universal pH indicator used to test the pH of diluted lactic acid which was found 3 & effluent pH as 7.5 which is alkaline. In the picture at left hand side the light red piece of pH indicator paper was dipped in diluted lactic acid with pH 3 and other yellow paper's tip was light blue shows pH between 7-8.On 11th November 2011 Dr. Thomas Varghees Retd Prof of Soil Science Dept, Kerala Agricultural University Visited Chandrasekharan Nair's house to see the innovation related with the handling of slurry. The well known scientist appreciated Nair for his trial and its result.
